Object Level Security in OBIEE

Object level Security  means providing access for OBIEE object like dashboards, Reports, Folders, OBIEE web catalog between different users/groups.
Example , User A might have access to a particular dashboard. whereas , User B might not have access of that dashboard depending on the security provided.

Object level security can be set at two level:-

1) Repository level: In presentation layer  ,we can set repository level security by giving permission /deny permissions to see particular column/table.

Below are the steps to be performed:-
In presentation layer , Right click on table -> properties-> permissions and then can give/deny the permissions to users/groups

2) Web level : Security for object stored in OBIEE web catalog like Dashboards, Pages, Reports. Users can only see the objects for which he is authorized .

Example, User A might not have the access of a dashboard which contains total sales, whereas , User B have.

Data level Security

Please share your feedback and keep me posted.
have a good day!!

thanks
